It rings true in countless situations\u2014from getting in shape or saving for retirement to building new relationships. If you have not already started to act, now is the best time to get going. Of course, there are moments when it is important to pause and reflect. For example, after finishing a major project or achieving a long-term goal. But then, it is time to set your sights on the future and act. And there are some decisions that cannot and should not be made quickly. For these, the analysis and organizational buy-in require more process steps. But keeping the process moving with frequent communication inspires an action mindset that pushes the organization forward.<\/p>\n
Zamarro also notes that new leaders must think boldly. Given the short tenure of many leaders, it is important to quickly get to work on bold initiatives before the time in the role is up.
