The Owen Case Competition Leadership Team will select twelve (12) teams (“Selected Teams”) as the finalists for the Competition based on the candidate teams’  demonstrated knowledge and interest in human capital issues, personal and professional background, and experience related to the Competition.  The selected teams will be notified via email of their selection.

The competition will take place at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, Tennessee.

Suggestions on travel logistics will be posted as soon as teams are selected. Nashville’s Airport (BNA) is very accessible and services most national airline carriers (including American, Delta, and Southwest).

Information about Nashville lodging options will be included on the Competition Logistics page. There are numerous hotel options near Vanderbilt University. Given the rising popularity of Nashville as a destination city, teams are encouraged to confirm their accommodations as soon as they are notified of their selection to participate in the competition.

Events for the competition will take place the evening of Thursday, October 31 through Saturday afternoon, November 2. More details around each event will be posted closer to the time of the competition.

Each Selected Team is responsible for any expenses relating to the competition, including but not limited to, travel, lodging, and food.
