I worked for the North American Sales VP. Aside from my major projects listed below, I traveled with the VP and advised him on organizational issues. I also researched organic growth opportunities and I wrote reports on market conditions and forecasts.

Q5: What were some things you liked about your internship experience?

My inputs were definitely valued. I relied on both my professional experience and academic knowledge. The company was ethical. The work-life balance was solid.

Nothing really. I was pleasantly surprised.

I utilized data analytics and best practices to develop and implement a nationwide process for selecting superior industrial distribution partners. I improved sales effectiveness in pursuit of $1 billion annual revenue. I created a process of interpreting economic data that enabled sales leaders to capitalize on changing market conditions. I provided sales engineers with specific opportunities through detailed business cycle analysis.
