They\u2019re gone now. You won\u2019t believe how the oft-changing, scraggly row of restaurants, bars and retail has changed. Today, the construction of a new 17-story, 600,000-square-foot mixed-use complex looms over the corner of Broadway and 21st where the restaurants were. The IHOP has been gone for years, replaced by an electric vehicle charging station. A new pedestrian-friendly crosswalk features a much-needed traffic light and a giant whisk (it\u2019s a bike rack). But all is not lost\u2014Mellow Mushroom and SATCO remain in their usual places.
