Lights, Camera … Leadership
I like to say that leadership is a contact sport. To me, that means leadership requires not just theory, but also practice, something we try to instill in Owen students through things like case studies in the classroom, through club and case competition participation, and through our Leadership Development Program. However, trying to describe the Owen leadership experience to the outside world — prospective students, recruiters, peer institutions and the wider Vanderbilt community — doesn’t quite do it justice.
To offer a glimpse of what our leadership experience really entails, Owen’s Marketing and Communications team has produced a new documentary-style video designed to give a fly-on-the-wall perspective. Thanks to David Owens, Tim Vogus, Melinda Allen, Dan Fisher, and Catalina Lizarralde for their help with this project.

For other great leadership advice, explore the recent video interviews of executives that have visited Owen over the past several months. The list includes people like Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan, Forté Foundation Executive Director Elissa Sangster and Harley-Davidson CEO Keith Wandell.
So sit back, pop some popcorn and enjoy!
